Julio Iglesias (born September 23, 1943, Madrid) is a Spanish singer. He retired from music in 2011, after an impressive list of albums sold, with a fortune of $ 5 billion.
His parents, Dr. Iglesias Puga and Maria del Rosario took care of their son, Julio, to study law at the University Complutense in Madrid, but life does not let him finish his studies because of a car accident that left him paralyzed for a time when he realized that the best way to channel their moral and physical pain is to close in the wonderful world of music. It all started when one day when he was hospitalized, received a guitar from the doctor who cared for him. So, in short, began his career fulminant covers a respectable period of 40 years, crowned with numerous albums rewarded with gold, platinum and numerous awards, unique in the world sometimes. In 1971 he married Isabel Preysler Arrastria with whom he had three children: “Chabeli” Marla Isabel (1971), Julio Iglesias Jr. (1973) and Enrique Iglesias (1975), the last two choosing to follow in the footsteps of their father.
In the early 1990s, has joined with Miranda Johanna Maria Rijnsburger destiny which had a total of 5 children, last born of the 2007. The first album is called La Vida safety artist Igal (1969) and most recently Quelque Chose de France (2007).
